High-intensity interval training on half of the court

Pairs of two A and B face each other on half a court. One of the players of pair B into the court of pair A. Pair A digs, sets, and hits this ball. Immediately afterwards, the other player of pair B tosses another ball into the court of pair A. This process repeats itself for a fixed amount of time, after which the pairs switch roles.

A1 and A2 each have a ball that they toss towards the players in front of them and catch once they are passed back. B1, B2, and B3 pass the tossed balls back to A1 and A2, and sprint from A1 to A2 and vice versa. A3 is the spare player.

Forwards and backwards

A overhead passes the ball to position 3. B moves to position 3 and sets the ball backwards to C. A takes B's position and B takes A's position.

The exercise is now in the mirrored form of the starting point and continues in the same way.
