You can extend the drill playing over the net in pairs of three or four by varying the way players have to move after playing the ball or by adding actions after playing the ball.
- After playing the ball, each player moves to the middle line, moves back to the three-meter line, and moves to the other side of the net.
- After playing the ball, the players move towards the net and jump as they're trying to block a ball.
- After playing the ball, the players make an approach, jump, and swing their arm as if they're spiking a ball.
