Diagram for the volleyball drill 'Targeted serving with a cone, chair, or ball'

SV1 and SV2 take turns serving towards R. R receives the serve with one foot on a cone (or a chair or ball) and passes the ball to setter S. S sets the ball back to R, who spikes the ball across the net, again with one foot on the cone. If R is able to receive the serve and spike across the net without taking his foot from the cone, the players change positions. If not, they try again.

R is free to place the cone wherever he sees fit.
